Disney’s Dare to Dream

Maryborough Theatre Company is excited to invite young performers to audition for our 2026 Junior Production, Disney’s Dare to Dream JR., showing this May!
This production is all about building confidence, teamwork, creativity, and having fun in a safe, encouraging environment. We aim to create a fun, friendly, and supportive audition process that helps every child feel comfortable, confident, and proud of giving it a go.
Auditions are open to junior performers aged 7–15. No previous theatre experience is required. All we’re looking for is enthusiasm, a willingness to try, a love of creativity, and, of course, commitment!
We ask all performers to take part in an audition so they can become familiar with the audition process, whether they’re hoping for a major role, a minor role, or would simply love to be part of our incredible ensemble.
At Maryborough Theatre Company, we pride ourselves on creating inclusive productions. Every child who auditions will be cast in a role, whether that’s a major role, a minor role, or a place in our amazing ensemble—which truly is the heart of the show.
Rehearsals will take place every Wednesday and Sunday, beginning Sunday 1 March 2026. Please ensure your child can commit to these rehearsal dates before booking an audition.

Important Notes
- There will be two dance audition sessions on each audition day (four sessions in total).
- Once you have booked an audition, you will receive your allocated dance audition session time via email, so please keep an eye on your inbox.
- Booking an audition is essential.
- All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- A show participation fee applies and will be communicated at the auditions.
